This page describes the general steps of my Executive & Professional Biotech Coaching services, but I also develop fully personalized plans based on what is most important for you, your team, and your organization. My specialty is looking at the interfaces between these, and how you can navigate them for success.

As a 20 year veteran and prior executive director in biopharma, I know what it takes to get ahead. I've published more than 20 presentations and articles on the biopharma market, concentrating in how people communicate to achieve their goals in these firms. My career coaching plans are effective and are designed to help you accomplish your objectives quickly.

Three Main Phases of Career Coaching

Assessment

As a dedicated Biotech Career Coach in Boston, one of the world's largest biotech hubs, I can rocket you forward into the next stage of your career. First, we will work together to define your priorities and clarify where you want to be in the next stage of your career. We will talk about your values and priorities.  We will also determine what obstacles are in your way, and what we can do to overcome them. This phase in coaching is geared specifically for exploration. I've heard many times from my clients that the biotech industry is different, and that's what makes my coaching approach so effective. Our assessment is geared specifically for leaders in pharma, biotech, medtech, and medical innovation management-- so we can talk in dept about obstacles related to venture or NPI funding, regulatory hurdles, compliance issues, and team dynamics that matter to you.

Strategic Planning

To get where you want to go, you are going to need a plan. The next step focuses on building a strategic plan that helps you stay on track and overcome obstacles. We will take what we learned in assessment, and dig deeper on how your skills and talents can be optimized to overcome the hurdles in your path.

Execution

Finally, we will set the plan in motion. As you take tangible steps forward, I am hear to help every step of the way to ensure that you productively move forward.

My career coaching practice in Boston draws on my extensive professional experience at the working with large pharmaceutical and technology firms, such as General Electric, Roche, and IQVIA, as well a range of smaller start-up and venture-backed firms.  I leverage my education from Johns Hopkins University and the NCSU School of Engineering. My biotech career coaching approach is rooted in organizational theory and positive interpersonal dynamics, and focuses on helping you shape the world around you through communication and interaction.
